What’s the safest option when applying for a DTV by way of soft power? I don’t want to do Muay Thai but would love to learn Thai cooking. Is it still feasible to get the visa from a cooking course? And which courses are trustworthy? Thanks
What are my best long term visas I should look into? I will be late 30s, from USA, fully retired living off my long term investments. Have no remote work nor plan or want to work at all. Is DTV soft power a good option? I don’t want to have to do cooking classes or Muay Thai every week for 5 years(though may end up doing Muay Thai anyways)
Should I just shell out the cash and get the elite?
Obviously once I hit 50 I will switch to retirement visa but need something for the next 11-12 years
Not a visa question but I hope some can help. I got my International Drivers license from AAA (the only verified U.S. source). It’s stamped and legit. Is there anything I should do when I arrive to help avoid paying fines when stopped at checkpoints? When I previously lived in TH, 20 years ago, that was my biggest frustration-constantly getting stopped. Should I go into a Government office and get the DL verified?
As a DTV holder, how feasible is it to rent a apartment/condo in bangkok for long term? Like minimum 2 years at least.
Assuming you return home every 180 days to avoid the hassle of extension, is it safe to leave your belongings in your rented place while you are away? Any dtv holders here who can chime in please?
sorry, simple Q.. does anyone have name of a Pattaya shop to renew my retirement visa? I need the 800000 baht statement. I have done for 5 years but the person I used has gone. thankyou.
