Update, I have just left Khon Kaen immigration doing My second yearly extension, which was due on11/4/2019
So I went in today as its 43 0days before.
I asked about the new rules and do I have to take a bank statement in when I do My 90 day report to confirm monies are still in the bank.
The response I received was no you don't have to do that, nothing has changed, just come as usual for your 90 days report.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user recently visited Khon Kaen immigration for a yearly visa extension and inquired about the requirement of bringing a bank statement for their upcoming 90-day report. They were informed that no changes have been made to this protocol, and it is not necessary to present a bank statement during the report. The conversation highlights concerns and rumors surrounding the new immigration rules that began on March 1, 2019, but the user received confirmation that the usual procedures remain in place.
I don't know where this hare-brained "check for funds when you do 90 day reporting" rumor came about.
Once the new rules start <- which is tomorrow on March 1st, no one knows how they're going to make you come back and show your bank balance after 3 months.
They can't tie it into a 90 day report because that resets IF you travel out of the country. There has to be some other way they compel you to come back.
I guess we'll all find out tomorrow when someone gets an extension and posts the write up

Correct, as the change start tomorrow on the 1st of March.
David Mcmillan sorry, Facebook started doing this strange thing. If you open a post it automatically sets you up for replying. I must have accidentally hit the send key.
