Not sure if i have stuffed up here or not, i was told by Nonthaburi imm to go back on the 11march to apply for the 12 month extension,

The cash had to be in the bank for 2 months, i changed banks on the 19th Jan, so my new passbook wont show 2 months, should i just copy my old passbook and hand that in with the new one?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about whether changing banks will affect their ability to meet the two-month bank balance requirement for a 12-month visa extension in Thailand. They were advised to apply on March 11 but are unsure if they should submit documents from their previous bank. A commenter clarified that they cannot change banks during the seasoning period, but the user's funds will be correctly seasoned by March 20, allowing them ample time to apply for the extension by April 11.

Umm, Unless I'm wrong (which I know in Bangkok I'm not) you can't change banks during the seasoning period. :/

The upside is your money will be seasoned the requisite 60 days required for your first yearly extension IN the new bank on the 20th of March.

The other upside IS your current 90 day admitted until stamp expires on April 11. So you have plenty of time to let the money season and then apply for your extension

The immigration office was only telling you that the 11 of March was the SOONEST you could come back to apply for a year extension, NOT that you had to come back on that day. You could show up on April 11th if you wanted to.

@Da***
, There is no 14 day under consideration period when you get a yearly extension :/

That was when you got the 90 day Non-O.

They issue year extensions on the spot.
