Thank you for the report. So Phetchabun office is another one that requires 2 months of seasoned funds for an in-country initial Non-O visa based on retirement.

Yes, some reports say that property visits or interviews were required for the initial visa based on retirement at some offices.

Your accommodation could be under your partner's name. As landlord's documents are required as well at some offices.

A 30-day tourism extension is added (top-up[) to your tourist or visa-exempt entry, not starting from the day of application. You don't "lose" any day of your tourism extension by applying earlier.

, You can apply for an extension from 45 days before until the very last day on your current stamp. A minimum of 15 days before is a requirement for an initial in-country visa application, not for an extension.

No, You are applying for a 1-year extension based on retirement/over 50 yo, not a visa anymore. The form for an extension (for any reason) is TM.7.

Check the requirements for an extension carefully.

This is general information for an extension based on retirement, not Bangkok specific. Chaengwattana might require some additional documents.

, You mean the ETA trial. It has been postponed until an unknown time.
@Derek *****
, No change is expected soon.

@Derek *****
, no TM6 or documents are required at airports to enter Thailand on visa-exempt. Just go straight to passport control

You have to go to the immigration office that issued your extension to cancel current exntension based on studying before you head to a land border. Some land border check points don't let you leave Thailand with uncanceled extension based on studying.

Then you will be able to enter Thialand on visa-exempt or tourist visa depending on your nationality.

No rule on maximum stay in Thailand regarding only immigration regulations.

@James *******
, what i'd like to know is how the landlord/property owner (could be a foreigner, but in most cases Thai) can fill TM47 form. I don't mean I doubt you did.
Ellie *******
@James *******
, don't you mix TM47 with TM30 or other form, such as TM28 or any? TM47 is 90 days report, and it's supposed to be submitted every 90 days, "years ago" doesn't work for TM47.
