I am a American extending my Thai non-immigrant visa. My Myanmar wife is on a spouse visa attached to mine so her's mus extend at the same time. We were married in Myanmar and we have all the OG documents and translations.
Thai immigration has asked for a copy of our marriage certificate translated to English and certified by the Myanmar Embassy. The Myanmar Embassy tells us they cannot do it, only in Myanmar.
Thai immigration wants a document certified by Myanmar saying we are married. Seems like we are certifying certifications. Any ideas?
Can a spouse be approved for a DTV Visa just by accompanying their partner (who has a medical treatment plan), or does each person need their own qualifying activity?
Trying to understand if applying as a spouse alone is strong enough or if it’s better for each person to have their own reason.
Currently holding Non B (extension of stay) with work permit. Recently married a Thai husband. Want to switch to Non O (spouse visa) while keeping my work permit.
Questions:
1.Can I change without leaving Thailand? (some say I must leave regardless)
2.Instead of depositing 400,000 THB, can I use salary proof since I am still employed with a valid work permit (meeting minimum salary requirements).

Has anyone been approved for a spouse DTV visa in Indonesia? If so, how long did it take to process? My husband was just approved in Indonesia for DTV and it took about a month. I was planning to apply for spouse visa but our visa agent is saying the spouse visa will also take another month! Curious to hear anyone else's experience with this. Thanks!
# DTV (Application in Vietnam) for Spouses and Children Without a Permanent Residence
My wife has had a DTV visa for a few days now. However, we and our two children are planning to leave Germany permanently on March 2nd to live as digital nomads outside Germany. Therefore, *we will no longer have a permanent residence in Germany*. We are concerned about reapplying for the DTV visa for spouses in Frankfurt, as we only have two weeks left. The processing of my wife's DTV visa took a very long time, and additional certified documents from her company were requested. My questions are:
1) Is it sufficient to simply provide the address of the hotel where we will be staying in Vietnam once we arrive, and to select "Yes" to "Is your permanent address the same as your current address?"
2) Is a passport stamp and confirmation from the hotel, perhaps with photos taken in front of the hotel, sufficient? Or what did you use?
(I haven't found a definitive answer in the group yet, only that everyone mentions two addresses.)
Do I simply go to immigration with my new passport and ask them to change the visa to the new one? Or can I travel with my new passport showing the old one at the airport immigration when I arrive.
I have been trying to find a post regarding my question for my DTV application as spouse. I couldn’t find anything regarding my question and I hope some of you have some experience since before.
My wife got her DTV approved a few days ago. I will now apply for mine. Do you know if they are strict with the 500k in the bank account for 3 months as they were for my wife. I’ve had mine for around 1 month.
If they are do you know a way that might help my application and getting it approved.
