RubyOstrich6114 Sounds like it's the BMs first time doing it. I remember my first time 555 and it was a stressful experience. If he has all the right documents then, I agree, he should do it himself, and not use an agent.

I've use them many times. You have to walk to D5 to meet them.

Quickest way is get an Agent to do it for you. Probably cost 4000 baht. Do it yourself you need to queue up at immigration and ensure you have all the right documents completed, signed and copied. Likely you'll have missed an item or two, or need copies or need photos, and will need to come back again. If in Pattaya immigration is in Jomtien Soi 5 I believe.

Sell them to your European friends. They are the same size and look very similar to the €2 coin. They gladly take some off your hands in exchange for baht.

Ask AI to do up a contract for you, including the requirement for remote working.

Up to date bank statement needed. Letter addressed to Thai Embassy and have remote working reference were the 2 things they asked for me. I uploaded those and within an hour or so got the visa. Just respond promptly and you'll be fine.

the visa is in your name not your company, so personal up-to-date bank statements needed. Ask AI to write employment letter giving them what they want, addressed to Thai Embassy, job requires remote working, and sign it as a Company Director and headed paper.

Give them what they want, a letter/contract saying you are required to work remotely. AI can draft a contract if you don't have one.

I don't know anything about Spouse visas but when I applied for my DTV I had to upload the most recent bank statement I had showing I had the required proof of funds so I imagine you would need to top up the account before applying for the DTV. That was through London Thai Embassy. As the other BM said all embassies have differences.
