Thailand have an agreement with the Uk that your private pension tax is paid in the Uk and your state pension never increases because you live abroad.

I have been through all this with specialist tax accounts

Just be mindful that you are here for 3 months before you get your retirement visa and will have to be here to renew every year. I did the one in Uk. Now have to be here in July to renew in August when I would like to be in the Uk sun FYI

I was in Phuket and it took 5 hrs for results and friends coming into Pattaya’s hotels the results are taking up to 25 hrs. If you do a test before 6 pm it’s quicker
