And what about all the captive farrang who have been on a free extra long visa extension till end of July ?..they are going to kick theire asses out of thailand pronto !....
All sounds good , but if pretty much everywhere is a ghost town it’s a shame you can’t enjoy your extension to the full, it’s ok for people who have friends/family/ wife’s/property/accommodation etc in thailand ,but for your 2 week millionaires it’s like being in prison, friend of my sons stuck out there and he’s broke ,plus I can’t help thinking that once flights kick off again and borders etc open again you will be shown the door as you have “overstayed”your welcome ,.
So after reading all the above comments ,i guess i,m safe to return as and when thailand opens again with my 1 day overstay stamp in my passport !......first naughty stamp in 10 trips,.(no fine).
i was just pointing out that there is more to Thailand than BKK & pattaya,.and not saying go out and about in the current crisis,but people can do what ever they like,end of.....
If you check in with a Thai friend give the receptionist they’re id,.it saves the hotel a lot of work reporting your stay ,. Mainly the small places seem to favour this method,.
