Waiting on any anouncement of the 45 day visa exemption being scrapped or extended,. Planning on a border bounce (2nd one) by 31st march to get a 45 day stamp, but if the 45 days stays in place I will do border bounce on 7 th April as this is when my current stamp expires,. Question is, can I get a 30 day extension on my final border bounce stamp at local immigration office ?,.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the uncertainty of the 45-day visa exemption in Thailand, with plans for a border bounce before the visa expiration. Users confirm that a visa exempt individual can generally apply for a single 30-day extension at a local immigration office, but caution that multiple border bounces may raise questions from immigration officials.

no showing TITs here please 🤣

I'm new to all this, could you please tell me what TIT means? I've seen that abbreviation. I will be a couple of years before I will spend any more than 3-4 weeks in Thailand per year, with plans to marry my Thai ladyfriend retire and retire there if all goes well.

If this is your 2nd bounce via a land border (1st was to get your entry 2nd 45 day say they will ask a lot of questions if your trying a 3rd. Correct me if i am wrong but I thought it was 30day entry via land 45 by air

however my Thai wife sponsored me for an additional 60 days. Total 135 days. She gave a good reason for me to stay.

that's not a tourisn extension. That's a "visiting Thai family" extension.
