TLDR : Answer Summary
Renewing a UK driving license while living in Thailand is possible. It can be done online, but there are important considerations. The UK DVLA requires a UK address for the renewal process, and it is advisable to pay for tracked mailing to ensure the license is safely sent to Thailand.

You need to renew every 10 years not just compulsory renewal at 70

if you don't reside permanently in the UK you cannot apply for or renew a UK driving licence.

So make sure you use a UK address if you have one.

Has to be a UK address on the license.

Yes but pay for mail to be tracked
