Answer summary

A user shared their experience of a one-day overstay in Thailand, mentioning that although there was no fine imposed at Bangkok Airport, they received a warning indicating that it could affect future visa extensions. Community comments varied, with some suggesting that the warning was an overreaction and that it might not affect visa extensions after such a short overstay. Others mentioned that any overstay could restrict access to fast-track services at the airport, highlighting the different experiences and perspectives expats have regarding immigration rules in Thailand.
