I will be entering Thailand by flight, genuine tourist. I will have the money, the onward flight ticket, as for show of accomodation how many nights must i show please. I will be on a visa exempt.
Do you need to have your flight and accomodation booked for dtv application? It asks for date and flight number but don’t want to book a flight incase it gets rejected? Thanks in advance
I just wanted to finalize my application and am at the point of travel information. Do I have to book everything in advance? I want to go to Thailand asap and am not sure what to do here. If I book everything in advance, how far in the future should it be? How long does it take for the embassy in Berlin to approve everything? I‘m afraid to lose a lot of money if I book flights etc and then get rejected or miss the flight and accommodation booking because it’s taking too long for them to approve it. I have all other documents needed for the DTV tho. Can someone help me here?
Currently in America applying for the remote work DTV. (Los Angeles embassy)
Going through the online form now and they are asking for information about the trip.
This is tricky because it depends on whether or not the visa is approved.
I plan to book everything so that it is refundable if not approved.
My question is how long should I book my accommodations for and when should I book my exit flight?
Should it be more than 60 days? I am just wondering because if I show I only plan on staying for 1 or 2 weeks they might wonder why a DTV is even needed.
It’s hard to know my actual travel plans until I know if the visa is approved or not.
Booking 2+ months and then getting a refund if I’m not approved feels unfair to the hotel so I don’t really want to do that.
If we have a flight on 9th of January from Gatwich until 23 of January when we will have our flight back. Wat exactly do we need on the entry in Thailand? Cash? How much per person or couple? TDAC? Accomodation? Do we need to have anything printed or is ok on the phone?
I'm applying for the DTV Visa Now in November to hopefully have it approved by end of December. My plan is to move in January but I don't have a flight number or accommodation details since I don't know if the visa will be approved in time 🤷🏼♂️
I know that for accommodation I can book something and change the date if is needed (if someone can confirm please if is valid to do that) but what I can do about the flight number?
I know I can change the flight and it will cost me about 300 euros but this will interfere at the moment of arrival? Will they also ask for confirmation of the flight? or they just need a flight number?
First entry with DTV from Chennai to DMK. The immigration line literally was 1 hour+ of standing in queue, but the process once I got to the counter was smooth af. The officer saw my DTV printout and didn’t ask a single question, just stamped for 6 months and said “enjoy your DTV”
I overheard them asking almost every person before me how long they were staying and if they have a return ticket, but didn’t ask me any of that. Just leaving a report here from the ones possibly coming in from India and wondering if they’re stuck up about return tickets and accommodation etc
