Went to Kamphaengphet Immigration and what a pleasant surprise it was, pretty much a brand new site, and extremely helpful staff, went armed with 2x photos/photo copies of passport pages/60 day tr evisa/ they didn’t want my copies and did it themselves and only took one of of my passport photographs, luckily I had my Thai g/f with me and the accommodation /place of stay question was sorted, had to pay 1000 bht along with the 1900 bht,. Not 100% sure what the extra 1000 bht was for ?,. I’ve been in loads of hotels over the last 50 days, and been staying at g/fs house on and off over the last few weeks, went in at 2.30 pm and came out at 3.30 pm,. All done, very quiete only about 8/10 people plus me and one more β€œ Farrang”,. Brilliant main man immigration officer, very nice man and all his staff members great to, . Lucky to be close to this office,.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user shared a positive experience at the Kamphaengphet Immigration office, noting it was a new facility with helpful staff. During the visit, they were surprised by a fee of 1000 baht in addition to the standard 1900 baht but were unclear about the purpose of the extra charge. The user mentioned various requirements, including identification documents, but the office staff handled most of the paperwork. The comments reveal a discussion around the 1000 baht fee, with other users questioning its necessity and sharing humorous remarks about the situation.

Those posters with the masked immigration officers are totally Orwellian. Ironic to see actual immigration officers not wearing masks though!
