TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on whether they can extend their 30-day visa after their second border bounce in Thailand. They mention their specific situation regarding their current visa type and their upcoming flight back to the UK. Multiple comments confirm that as long as they can enter Thailand, they should be eligible for another 30-day extension. Additionally, they should prepare the necessary documentation and cash when crossing the border.

Did you ask whether farang are now allowed to spend the day in Myawaddy? Or is it still "border bounce" only?

I’m guessing still no entry,. But it simplifies things as you don’t have to do anything other than hand 500 bht over at end of friendship bridge and wait

My colleague tells me foreigners are allowed to spend the day in Myawaddy on the same terms as Thais. I will find out for sure once I'm in the area soon and will update accordingly.

Is this an issue at border bounce, or just local immigration offices ?

Just imagine the chaos at the airports, if immigration at the borders would be closed and even if it's just for two hours.

That doesn't affect border crossings

Assuming you are allowed to enter Thailand then you can get a 30 day extension no problem. Take your flight ticket with you and make sure you have accommodation booked along with 20k baht in cash, or equivalent in other major currency.

You should be good and yes you can get another 30 day extension on this border bounce….

Every tourist entry is eligible for a 30 day extension so you can get another 30 as you have a new entry.
