Some of us come from countries that could not even imagine this being possible. I’m sympathize with the OP. As soon as my visa is processed for the next year I will also move that block of money to another bank. I have two Thai banks and wise and my Canadian bank. I’ll just go back to enjoying life now.

I did it with no agent.

I had no issue and this was after Bangkok locked down it's customers.

Happened to me and I had everything transfered to the new passport. Had an agent do it for me.

the fact that you think 50k is alot says you need more than a financial advisor. Yes even for Thai people it's not a lot. And yes of course there are people with more money and people with less. I'm amazed at the IQ level and these responses. I have 6x this limit at my other Thai bank. It's just when you open new accounts that they lock you down.

6 months before they adjust it if it's the same as krung Thai.
