Hello, I have 90d Non-O until 8. march and leaving Thailand 23. march and I'm wondering which options I have. I was on immigration and they said one year or 7 days extension. I can not provide documents for one year but not sure about 7 as I didn't ask because I need 15 days. I planed go do border bounce which is 7k and lost hard day or two so I'm now wondering about to do 7day extension and then pay for 8 days overstay on the airport which seems to be still less or equal to 7k with saved energy and time for border bounce. What do you think about that or do I have another options? Would it be ok in the Samui airport if I come with 8days ovestay?
In BKK. My 90 day non-o expires in a month. I’ve scheduled an appt 1 week bf the expiration at Immigration to apply for my first-ever 1 year Extension. Every document will be in hand, except I’ve lost my TM.6. Departure Card. Can I wait until my scheduled Extension appointment to rectify the lost TM.6 or do I need to make special extra trip to immigration just to get a replacement TM.6 in advance? Thanks for your replies.
Hi, back in December I asked a similar question but now I dig into details (I know about bt 800.000 wired from abroad, the seasoning and the bt 65.000 option).
Now, if I enter TH with a 90 day non-O Retirement Visa, have the bt 800.000 in my bank for well over 2 months, could I ask for 12 months Extension of stay shortly after I enter or do I need to respect a certain period before applying (I am aware that I “waste” approved time but I have a reason)?
ADVICE PLEASE: For a 90 day Non-O Visa-holder who’s now in Thailand and on the 90 day clock, there’s so many disparate puzzle pieces to accrue bf applying for “1 Year Extension of Visa.” For example: There’s setting up a Bank account & Transferring 800k Tbt, Getting local Phone service, finding a permanent address with lease and TM30…. PLEASE SHARE from your experience what is the most logical order to tackle the tasks above, AND don’t hesitate to list the many I haven’t even thought of in this moment. Thank god this FB Group exists. It is a gift to newcomers!
