I referred to the transfer of a large sum by SWIFT transfer and in THB (not GBP or other foreign currency that will be converted to THB at Bangkok Banks exchange rates)

And the SWIFT instructions state that the receiving Banks fees are borne by the recipient (not the sender)

Bangkok Bank charges a flat 500THB 'landing fee' if you send Thai Baht from your Bank overseas

Try Agoda for hotel bookings in Thailand. Never had such a problem

The best are Singapore Airlines and Emirates. The cheapest...? Use Google flights or Skyscanner to find prices for your travel dates

I had the exact same experience in that little office. Thankfully I got my Covid extension granted, but with a 30day under consideration stamp. During this time I'm not allowed to apply for the 90 day non-O - according to the friendly lady in the office behind #7

I'll go try again mid August when the 800k will be seasoned and my Covid extension no longer is under consideration.
