Can I leave Thailand during the 90-day reporting grace period or should I leave on the due date?

The rule is simple, IN thailand 90 continuous days file a 90 day report, there is no grace period, <- that is the window you have to file a 90 day report in person (from 2 weeks before until 1 week after the due date).

Seeing as you can file a 90 day report 2 weeks before the due date, how about just file the 90 day report early BEFORE you leave?

Then you can leave when ever you want to and not worry about coordinating your departure so you're not obligated to file a 90 day report 🙂

90-day report is to report that you are in Thailand for 90 consecutive days, you are due to report during reporting window if you are in Thailand on the 90th day.

That 7 days after is the "grace period" to report, not for counting days of staying.

You can stay or leave anytime as long as your stamp allows.

Leave whenever you want!!!

Just be sure to submit the 90 day report during the required period

To be sure you can alternately do your new 90 days report electronically 15 days before due date.
