when I opened my second account in Chiang Mai I needed only to show my passport and visa. That was 8 months. Of course the North of Thailand is much more relaxed

you can but need to travel outside the country every month for 4-5 days. In 2022 i managed nearly 10 months. So i’m a sense your right it was not 12 months.
