TLDR : Answer Summary
The post seeks information about which airlines allow travelers to receive boarding passes for connecting flights with Thai airlines in Bangkok, specifically mentioning EVA Air. Several commenters have provided insights, noting that Turkish Airlines, ANA, Singapore Airlines, and EVA Air are known to allow connections with Thai Airways (TG). They emphasize the importance of the airline's grouping, particularly the Star Alliance, in easing the transfer process. One commenter also discusses the differences between interlined luggage and carry-on procedures for travelers with separately bought tickets.

It'll be down to how and who you booked your original flights with to your final destination

I assume you mean for separately bought tickets, rather than a connecting flight on the same PNR code. The issue is more one of interlined luggage where the checked uggage needs to check through to your ultimate destination. Otherwise, I find that if you only have carry-ons and you check in online for the second flight and print a boarding pass on paper and show it at the transit immigration area, they've always let me through without any questions.

thank you. you understand exactly. I used to do that but last 2 times they asked for my last boarding pass and would not let me go they have a list of about 5 airlines which are permitted to do this.

interesting I've done it many times this year including four times in the past three months to go to separately bought Bangkok Airways flights to Samui, coming from separately bought flights on Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong Airlines, HK Express and Thai Airways. Yes, I recall they asked to see my last boarding pass too but always accepted the home printout of the Bangkok Airways boarding pass. Logically there is no reason they wouldn't let you since all it is is a shortcut to the Immigration Passport Control in the transit area so you don't have to go through the main immigration queue. Interesting that your experience has been different. I assume you didn't have checked baggage?

perhaps if you contact the airlines you want to use and ask them instead of Google. When I book, and go onwards to Phuket the ticket shows the change in Bangkok so it's a complete connecting ticket.

did they not answer the phone? I use EVA and have never had a problem contacting them.

Turkish Airlines, ANA, Singapore Airlines and EVA i have used to connect with TG. I think airlines within the same mileage group, Star Alliance make it much easier.

it appears they dropped Singapore airlines I tried a month ago but would not let me

That is strange as SQ is still part of Star Alliance. You can book separately and still get a boarding pass for BKK transit.

yes not all Star Alliance are allowed to use the internal transfer. There is a list at entry way to the internal immigration
