We had several friends in Chiang Mai renewing their Non-O and had the same experience. As well as others renewing different kinds of visas and had similar experiences :/ definitely seems to be a trend happening.

They also asked me for documents that I had already provided. I provided them again and on a cover letter, professionally explained they could find the documents in my original application on page #_

Not sure if you’re also applying via your own company but I had to provide my business establishment document because I applied with my own business.

We used a document from the health clinic she went to. It came in the mail so it had her name and address.

Yeah you don’t need a rental agreement for the initial DTV application.

Or at least not at the Washington DC embassy!

It was a few weeks if I remember correctly. I think three weeks for mine, three weeks for my husband and daughters dependent applications.

Some say, some don’t. I would say, use the search option on this page with the name of the embassy.

I applied through Washington DC and I had deposited it a few days before applying. That was in August last year.

I went down to my bank and asked a worker for a Letter of Good Standing. It’s a letter showing the balance of whatever accounts you would like and it’s got the signature/stamp of the branch manager. And then I also supplied screenshots of the last month of my transactions to create my own “statement”.
