Has anyone here left and re-entered to avoid the 180-day mark? I know the 6 month mark is in January since the visa was released but just curious if anyone has done a border bounce and if so, how long did you leave for? Which border? By land or air?

TIA!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers around whether individuals can cross the border to reset the 180-day duration on their Thai visa. Various users share their experiences with border bouncing; some have successfully exited and re-entered the country to receive a new 180-day stamp, while others question the necessity of this approach when extensions can also be obtained at a relatively low cost.

Unless you are a remote worker then why do a BorderBounce ? You can extend for 1900 baht, becoming a tax resident doesn’t apply for Softpower

Entered, got 180 days. Week later flew to Taipei on a mileage run. Needed some miles for tier upgrade. Next day flew back to Thailand and got another 180 stamp.

No issues.

Plenty of people have exited and re-entered since the visa was introduced. It's a multiple entry visa, it shouldn't matter what port you enter by.
