How many nights do you usually book a hotel in the country where you apply for the Thai DTV (e.g., Vietnam)? Is 7 nights enough or do embassies expect a longer stay?
Hi everyone. Currently applying on Jakarta Embassy and I just received an email today for further document(s). Background story: I'm a native Indonesian living in Bali, applying at Jakarta Embassy under Workcation category.
That being said, I believe I need no stay permit from Indonesian Immigration since I'm a native Indonesian myself and I already write them down on my cover letter. Would that be a good solution if I provide them either my passport cover page or national ID Card? P.S. I already provide them a 3-month invoice of my apartment rent in Bali.
Im a Swedish citizen who just left Thailand and currently in Da Nang to apply for my DTV.
Question one :
My passport states 4 names as my Given Names/Förnamn. (Example : Jon I Lars Fred Larsson)
But in Sweden I only go by one of them Lars, so technically the others are my “middle names”. But the name I go by is not the first one of the 4 names, it’s the 3rd. That’s where it gets tricky. But all my bank cards, credit cards and when I log on to my net bank state (example : Lars Larsson). How do I go about this? Should I separate it into first and middle names? Or maybe explain this in a separate letter?
Question two :
I could only choose to apply via the Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh embassy. But since it’s all digital do I need to be in any of these two city’s or am I good on Da Nang?
Which embassy (other than Vietnam) in SEA is currently best for dtv approval for remote work? less complications, higher chances of approval, quick process and accepts 3 months Bank statement?
I haven’t worked for over two years as I’ve been living off savings. I got a job in recently, mainly for the dtv. But as I haven’t paid any tax, or had incomes , I’m thinking that’s probably the reason I got rejected.
So keen to know what kind of requirements London has, before I travel home to apply from there. If I’m likely to have the same issue I won’t bother and set up home elsewhere.
If a family applies for dtv from USA (Texas) using the Washington embassy, will we have to have a in person interview in Washington or will they do it via video? Or a closer embassy? (if there is one)
How long does dtv take for approval (if approved i have flights booked am i better off waiting till back or is it worth using an agent ..i dont want to do anything wrong ..want to go through process completly right cross the ts amd dot the i's
Has anybody done a dtv in Laos how long is the turnaround from applying to receiving approval, and do you get email confirmation before going to embassy
