TLDR : Answer Summary
Visa transfer to a new passport is not standard practice, and in most cases, you will need to carry both the old and new passports when traveling. While some visas issued in Thailand can be transferred for a fee, it is generally advisable to check with local immigration authorities. An entry stamp and extension of stay relevant to the original visa may also be used in the new passport.

NO, a VISA which is issued as E-Mail can not be transferred into a new passport.

Your entry stamp, your Extension of Stay in combination with a stamp refering to the used visa, can be put in a new passport at local Immigration Office.

It depends on the visa and where it was issued!

I believe if was issued in Thailand they can transfer for B1000.

I have just gotten a new UK passport and they have transferred my visa!

They don’t transfer visa. My 8 year old brought both old and new passports and traveled to Thailand last week. No issues.
