Hey everyone,

I own little ecommerces shops that brings me between €1-3k / month.

I am about to validate my demand of visa but i would like to get some potential advices and recommandations before.

I’ve redacted a full document explaining in detail my activity, you will find the table of content of this document attached.

I am a small company i don’t know anything about accounting etc i use my professionnal account as an individual one.

And lastly the only proofs i got to show my revenu is bank statement of november, october and september in which we can see that all the transactions and that the account is growing by 1.5k / 2k every period.

Do you think it will be sufficient? Do you have any tips to share?

It’s for the thai paris embassy.

Has anyone applied as a sole proprietor? I have my own company but I’m not incorporated. I’m curious to know if someone got approved and what the proof of business letter looked like.

Hello, I applied for Thailand dtvisa in Ho Chi Minh City I applied for a remote workstation, but today I received an email asking me to submit additional paperwork. The additional paperwork says to add a remote working employment contract, but I am the representative of a private transport and logistics business in Korea. Therefore, there is no remote employment contract. Transportation and logistics are handled by our staff and we look at the guidelines and taxes. We also work remotely in Korea. No need to go to the office. Can I just submit my business registration card and portfolio explaining this without an employment contract?

Hi guys. I'm from the UK.

I work online as a free-lancer and self-employed.

I have contracts with my clients and a dedicated social media page for my work. I can also meet the financial requirements.

Will I be required to show tax and business registration documents as part of my application?

Thanks :)

The embassy requested that I provide a business registration with the government as well as certification from my employer. I'm a self employed digital artist who sells directly to computer gamers. Any members out there run into this problem who can suggest a solution?

Hi, I applied in Hanoi through e visa this morning and they requested additional documents this evening. But I don’t understand what they’re asking for or how to ask them for clarification. Anybody have any ideas? Thank you in advance.

DTV in HCMC: Approved

Big thanks to this amazing group, it really helped a lot!

Arrived 28.10 and applied as soon as I got to my hotel, it was almost 3AM when I submitted it.

Documents: photo + passport Company's registration + documents to prove that I'm the sole owner

Bank statement for the last 3 months with over 500k THB in there ( only 5 transactions in the last 3 months since I don't use that account much and it was fine)

Portfolio: my website links, YouTube channel links as well as screenshots from the studio page where it shows analytics and explaining only owner/manager could see that part of the channels)

Explaining that I own the websites and 3 of these YouTube channels + manage on YouTube channel for the client + what I do and it is all done remotely

Wise payment slip from my client that she paid me (through her personal account though and it was fine)

No extra documents needed. Approved Friday 22:53 (!!) I was surprised to get approved outside of the business hours but sure am glad I did and can go to Thailand today instead of spending the weekend here.

Edit: forgot to add proof of location. For that I gave them arriving to Vietnam visa stamp + Wise account statement where last 2 transactions are from Vietnam

I would like to tell you my experience out of the Los Angeles embassy. I just received my DTV e-visa today on Oct 30, 2024. I first applied as a remote worker on September 11, 2024. On September 27, 2024 I received an email that said this: "Your visa application has been rejected. Please reapply visa, the name on the application is incorrect." I am certain it was correct, so I was kind of angry. I advise everyone to take screen shots of every page as you fill out the application and double and triple check it and make sure it is correct. On October 3, 2024 I paid another $400 and applied again making absolutely sure it was correct. On October 4, I got an email requesting further documentation. They wanted my most recent tax return and business registration of the company. The tax return was no problem, but the business registration was a problem because I am not a business owner, I am an employee! A few days later, I sent them my tax return and a letter from my employer stating that I am permitted to work as a remote worker. I did not send the business registration because I didn't have access to that as an employee. A week later I got another request for a business registration even though I explained I am not the business owner. Luckily, I was able to obtain a seller's permit from the California State Board of Equalization from my employer and sent it off to them. A few days later I received my DTV. If you are applying for this visa as a remote worker employee, make sure you have access to a business registration of your employer or you will probably waste $400. Once again, also make sure to enter all the information on your application correctly, or that will cost you another $400 also.
