yes. I am 65 and done mine in September 24. When you in Thailand at bank and immigration if you have Thai gf or friend who speaks Thai and English this will help, as staff not always speak English.

You need a 90 Non O visa to start with from London embassy, when you here with the Non O visa you can get Bank account, ( you need letter from immigration, quite easy ) then you can open bank account, Then deposit

0 bhat , you then apply for a 12 month visa, you need report every 90 days after you have this ( can be done on line )

Not sure if this helps , my gf who got visa for Uk, she had interview in Bangkok . It’s an agency. And the interviewer and all of them are Thai nationals, not sure if this is same with USA ?

Bring in suitcase 30k max. Don’t think you can Take battery’s. But they available here , that’s what I did.

It would seem it’s up to the Thai official. If he thinks you are abusing the 60 day visa exempt, they ask you to get the correct visa if you want to stay longer ( I may stand corrected but it’s how I understand it )

Do it yourself on website. Yoh need show she will return after visit , have letter from her employer , if she owns home prove it. Show you have enough money to support her, don’t waste money on agent
