Thanks. Showing funds in a bank is no problem but I think the DTV requires a higher monthly income than I can show proof of.

Thanks but from what I’ve studied I do not meet the requirements for a DTV due to lack of monthly income.

You’re an amazing contributor to this group. Even with your info my concern is that my account here has almost no money in it right now. In two months or so I can jam $26,000 USD in to provide that “last bank statement” but wouldn’t they react badly seeing my account went from a $1000 to $26,000?

I have used Friendly Thai Visa for three border runs and all were great. Good luck.

I agree. About eight weeks ago MOTS (great agency) and Thai Visa were both at least 10,000 higher than the figure mentioned previously. But things change daily so you’re right about rechecking. My hope is to re-enter the kingdom with 90-day Non O visa in hand then go from there. Thanks.

I only asked because I spent two months on and off discussing details and fees with more than ten agencies including the ones mentioned. None were under about 40,000 Baht so I’m just curious if prices may have dropped in the past eight weeks. I have a Thai phone number but my address is in Rayong Province and I think there might be a small addition charge to “remedy” that.

Can you elaborate on exactly which facets of obtaining a non O visa an agent takes care of for 27k? I think it is considerably more expensive if they do EVERYTHING.

Thanks. Good advice about not using a phone. I just won’t have enough funds in my account seasoned for three months before returning to Thailand so now I’m pursuing other options.

Thanks to dedicated contributors such as yourself I have studied and understood most of what you wrote here. My problem is that I’ve been planning to use funds from selling some property in order to cover financial requirements regarding the non O visa and subsequent extension. BUT I will not have the seasoned bank statements because I want to return to Thailand immediately after selling said property. I THOUGHT applying for the non O from the USA did not demand bank statements and all the proof of funds would be needed AFTER arriving back in the kingdom.
