I know things have changed in recent months but can anybody refer me to a visa agency that can still do a 90-day + 12 month extension based on retirement including opening the required bank account for 40,000 or less?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking recommendations for visa agencies that can assist with a 90-day and 12-month extension based on retirement, including help with opening a required bank account with 400,000 THB or less. Community responses mention several agencies such as THAI VISA CENTRE, PDC Visa, and One Stop Soi 6 Pattaya, highlighting quotes and fees. Some comments suggest considering handling the process independently by referring to official resources.

Last changes in visa matters was 15. july 2024 ! !

And had nothing to do with, what you are asking for.

Visit the Thai Embassy website in you country, to get up to speed.

Take control of your future life, and forget about using a agent.

typo: not 40.000 but 400.000 Bath.

seems high for them, but fair enough. But you are asking for banking also.

Going forward with them it’s only about 15k annually for renewals
