Yes my husband and I just got our Thai driver's license in Phuket, really easy to get make sure you have an IDP and your home country license, a passport size photo, copies of the data page of passport and page with visa stamp, and you'll need a certificate of residency, only a two year license being on DTV

How do I request a residence certificate in Thailand and what are the requirements?

At Phuket immigration, needed copies of passport Bio page, visa stamp page, TM30, a recent passport size photo, our rental lease. Cost us 500thb per certificate of residency needed, we got 3, bank account, driver's license and to purchase a car, so 1500thb in total

They asked me to send a new photo, even tho mine was a new one, I asked the post office to email me the photos Instead of printing them out, I uploaded the email photo and it was accepted
