ok you're right yep you can just border bounce in and out for a year no worries, everyone go do that im sure there'll be no problems since old steve over here has been doing it. lets ignore the insane volume of people recently getting turned away even after their 2nd or 3rd entry, being told to get a DTV , but steve says its fine so it must be!

cool bro, like I said did you miss the point where I said that they’re only being strict as of lately? The past 18 months means nothing. Not sure why you keep bringing up things from the past lol

do you understand that they’re only cracking down on it lately? The last years have nothing to do with how they’re handling it now. Thinking you can border bounce for a year in today’s times is hilarious

you could probably visit Thailand 2 times before that starts becoming an issue lol. If you think you can just keep coming to visit on tourist visa then you’re wrong

Anonymous participant 745 it’s 180 days in a calendar year. Whether or not it’s consecutive makes zero difference. All I’m saying is giving the wrong advice could land some people in trouble. Their own fault for not doing more research themselves though I guess

even if this were true, the requirement is $500.. if you don’t have $500 you shouldn’t be travelling in the first place haha

well it’s pretty safe to assume he’s talking about staying 180 days then leaving to renew the 180 days = once a year lol

you’re paying literally 2-3x the price of long term leases
