i have not i just have contacts within Bangkok for when I arrive to do so there are agents you can use and steps to take. Jist have to know where to look. It's not impossible just certain locations

Bangkok Bank ( BBL ) there has to be a long term visa involved in think I'm gathering information as well but I know other expats that are under Non-o tourist visa that have done it. American Veterans like my self

Hey can open a bank account in Thailand there are documents needed for it but other wise to prove his account he just needs a bank statement from his US bank to show or letter from the bank certifying funds

you can apply for a visa online and on arrival or during your stay but yes you can travel with passport alone for 60 days .. visa go longer but also there are use restrictions from my understanding like so many times a year depending on which one

You can travel to Thailand on your American Passpprt alone for 60 days then an extension, upon arrival you can submit for a visa effective January 2025 it can all be done online from my information

Yes did you get an "in" stamp where you were going. If it was electronically done there is record of you leaving

Retirement visa requires age 50 and proof of min bank level of 500k from what I have found in their website.

You can visit Thailand on passport for 60days then pay for extension. I'm under the impression for some visas you have to have constant travel to and from.

Also another hint when they say limit on visit if you don't want to pay extension just leave the country and come back. You DO NOT have to return to the states you just have to leave the country to count
