Hi Everyone. I'm applying for the DTV visa through Los Angeles and I just received the 'Request for Further Document' email for supplemental documents. I work for a university currently and was hired as a full time employee 2 years ago. The offer letter itself was insufficient, so I'm now putting together more documents (Employment Verification generated electronically from our portal, and a payslip that shows I'm a remote FTE) to submit. They asked for a 'Guarantee letter from the company implies that you work remotely' so I'm putting those 3 together.
I've read that LA wants a statement clearly saying that we 'do not intend to conduct any business in Thailand or engage in business activities with Thai nationals or entities, and also that we do not seek local employment'. How can I show this? I've drafted a cover letter to state this information since the above documents mentioned does not state this piece of information anywhere. I will not go to HR to have them sign off this letter and I also don't really want to go to my director for it. Is there any other way? Does it have to include a wet signature? Can I be the one to draft it on my university letterhead? Can I sign off the letter myself?
Just got my Visa approved! It took many months as I originally had applied for LTR because I meet all the requirements but there was an issue with my employment situation regarding me being a contractor and my contracting company not willing to release financials, so I switched to DTV and the process took about a month. I used THAI VISA CENTRE - visa agent. After they submitted everything to the LA embassy I flew to Thailand and my visa was issued after about 15 days. Now all I have to do is fly out of Thailand to activate it.
Someone applied as a german and got an idea what i can give them as a business license? do i have to ask my employer for that? its an GbR. Im just an employee

As an online teacher working with a platform, could you please clarify what specific documents or evidence I need to provide to demonstrate my employment status for the Digital Nomad Visa application? Would a certificate or statement from the platform confirming my work and income be sufficient?
I'm under an investor visa in the UAE and recently applied under the *Soft Power* route in Dubai. I chose “Business Owner” when filling out the application. I read here that employment verification isn’t required for Soft Power, so I submitted a straightforward application.
They got back to me asking for more documents. I’m the manager of my own company, so I’m wondering:
1. Is a MOA stating I’m the manager enough instead of a contract?
2. I read that some of you created your own employment contracts to yourself. But if you’re a business owner, will this flag you?
3. Can I issue an NOC to myself and also be the authorized signatory?
I know each embassy may have different requirements, but I’d really appreciate hearing what worked for you regardless and if you're someone with the same experience in Dubai.
PS: Of course I will adhere to the requirements and still submit what's requested, I just want to be careful not to cause confusion.
Those of you who applied under workcation for remote worker and had to include paystubs from your employer, on which part of the visa application did you upload those? Do they go in #4 with the bank statements? Or in #5 with the employment contract and employment verification letter?
My husband and I are in US and planning to apply for the DTV visas. I have a couple of questions and hoping this group can answer.
1. My husband works remotely and will continue to work for this company when we move. As a spouse, do I need to wait until he gets his visa in order for me to apply for mine?
2. One of the questions on the application is the address of a location we will be staying in Thailand. We have not been to Thailand yet. Do we need to have a place to live secured before applying for the visa? Could it be a hotel?
3. For the employment verification, do we need to get a letter from the company or would a paycheck stub or an offer letter when he got hired sufficient? He’s been working for this company just over a year.
