Ranong is not so friendly .... used to be so nice, not anymore. You will need to show 20,000thb, onward ticket and proof of accommodation. This is for everyone. Anything missing and they will direct you to use one of the agents hanging around.

just did Ranong. Not what it used to be. Very hostile. You will need 20k cash. You will need ticket out. You will need proof of accommodation.

It seems to be that immigration staff don't want to deal with you and push you in to the hands of agents ( people traffickers).

I turned up with the 3 proofs and they were very hostile to me.

@Graham *****

Andaman club har re opened for border bounces. It's a lot more expensive now than before COVID. I don't know exact cost but around 2400thb for round trip on speedboat.

You ARE going to need some kind of onward ticket and the 20k cash.

I'm going to Kawthong Tuesday.

Can you post a redacted picture of this email. Someone will be able to give you a reasonable answer then.

ok. Starting to understand your position now.

You are on a 1 year extension of stay based on visiting family ( wife or half Thai child).

As
@Chris ******
mentioned, if immigration decide to cancel your extension, it won't be via an e-mail.

Maybe post a redacted image of the email and email address.

Also, on some email providers, there's a small drop down arrow > that will show the full email address
