For those that have been approved for DTV. What did you put for your “flight number” and “accommodation in Thailand” if you had no flight/accommodations schedule!?

Hello there,

Hello everyone,

I'm visiting Thailand soon and have a question: I hold a Canadian passport and wonder if I should buy my return ticket now for the immigration check at the airport. Do I need a return ticket to obtain my visa on arrival?

Thank you.

Hey yall!!! I’m currently still in the USA and looking to move to Thailand, I am considering the 6 month multiple re-entry tourist visa and trying to check out different areas of Thailand to see where I want to settle or if I want to settle at all honestly. I want the multiple re entry tourist visa to explore other surrounding options like vietnam etc… I’m really curious of the best way to go about the temporary housing. Also if anyone has done just the tourist visa, did they allow you to just show a one way ticket or did you just have to lose out on the return ticket etc?

Do you have to book an onward ticket with DTV? I'm filling out my TDAC and it asks for departure information.

They asking for confirmed accomodation for the duration of intended stay.

During the application i selected 165 days of stay.

Do i need to book a hotel now for 165 days ?

Another question:

At the application process they asking for flight ticket. I booked a 'ticket' via onwardticket website.

Now they asking me for confirmed airline ticket. Can i now book a different flight ? Or do i need to book the flight i provided (onwardticket).

I have question

Does buying ticket from onwardticket. com

Or similar websitez that give you real flight for 2 days is good for applying for setv evisa

Because in documents that I need to provide there is flight booking confirmation

And evisa process may take 7 days or 5 or more so the ticket will not be working agter 3 days or 2 , and if I buy real ticket I may loose 1000$ if evisa not approved because ticket from Morocco to bangkok are not cheap

So what's the best solution

And if there any advice to give me so the evisa will approved

I've just searched the group and cant find an answer, surprisingly.

I have a DTV visa. I'm flying to Bangkok on Friday.

What are the chances of being asked for an onward ticket?

Given that I'm legally allowed to stay 6 months, having booked & paid travel plans that far in advance would be a ridiculous requirement; but bureaucracy and immigration departments aren't known for their careful use of reason and logic.

Anyone..?

I’m coming to Thailand in November for 90 days, here’s my questions

1. Do I book the flight for 90 days even though I’ve not got the 90 day visa?

2. How do I get the 90 day visa? Is it at the airport as soon as I arrive in Thailand.

3. If I want to stay longer, how do I do this?
