Cooking isn't on the list of prescribed occupations. I'm not 100% sure about the qualification question, but my best guess is that they won't issue a Work Permit unless the candidate has some professional qualification (and probably experience) in that field.

This is confusing

You've applied for a visa yet you're already on some kind of non o 1 year visa ( that doesn't exist, extension maybe) and you've done a 90 day report. ??

that's none ofy concern, just when I stalked his profile to get some kind of clue as to what passport he may be using, just says "from Utopia". I stopped there.

Yes you can. Your extension finishes the day you stamp out. When you stamp in you get another 30 days ( depending on what passport you have....always helpful to mention your passport not 100% sure Utopia is part of the visa exempt scheme)
