Your employer can supply you with paperwork to apply for a one year extension of stay.

Your employer needs to prepare the paperwork for you to go to immigration and get the one year extension (employment}

BTW you won't get your extension tomorrow. You'll get 30 day under consideration. You may get a visit at home from immigration

these guys tried to charge me for my one year extention. Did it myself for 1900 but had to do my own photocopying.

Best thing to do, as your position is quite unique, is to go and speak to the immigration office that will handle your case. i would also suggest you take someone from your work place who handles your work permit, even if it costs you lunch.

I've found most immigration officers helpful when given the chance.

Try and get someone to make an appointment for you with immigration so they can set aside some time to talk to you.

Make a list of what they say.

Most people dont know what a Visa on arrival is and confuse it with Visa exempt
