TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses the uncertainty surrounding the Visa on Arrival for Indian nationals in Thailand, particularly in light of ongoing quarantine requirements. Users express skepticism about the program's restart due to the impracticality of a 15-day visa coinciding with a mandatory 15-day quarantine. No definitive timeline is provided, and participants are directed to local embassies for the most accurate information.

Please read this article of how much thilend dipend on india tourist
IF I was to guess I'd say they are NOT going to start the Visa On Arrival program back up for the 19 countries who used to be able to fly in and buy a 15 day visa on arrival at the airport when they landed.
I say that because you have to quarantine for 15 days when you enter. A 15 day visa on arrival is not all that worthwhile.
You can BUY a tourist visa from a thai consulate in your country and request to get in if you meet the entry requirements
what I meant was, that notice is for people who get 30 day visa exempt, 30 day visa waiver or 90 day visa exempt entries, it is NOT for people from the 19 countries who BUY 15 day visas on arrival when they show up here

Visa on arrival (where you pay for the visa on arrival) only gives you 15 days in the country. Because you have to quarantine for 15 nights itβs not a viable option. No one knows when this may change.
