Transfer of existing visum with EOS from an old to a new passport.

Easy peasy.

1.) Get your new passport 😉

2.) Copy ALL pages of your old passport.

3.) Copy picture page of your new passport.

4.) Fill out ½ an A4 from immigration.

5.) Go with all of the above to immigration within 1 minute.

6 ) About ½ an hour later, I had my stamp in my new passport. It is actually FOR FREE. In my case even with a new 90 day limit.

7.) TM30 notification: I did a new one online but the officer said that it is not necessary, the old printout would be OK.

Go eat a celebration noodle soup for 40 THB, and think about how old you will be in 10 years when you will have to do it again.

Just got my retirement visa and bank, so im ok fir now. I am going to move residence in a few weeks from pattaya to korat to my home (wife's name) . I need to notify korat immigration and need to furnish whst to them?

Hi I need a bit of guidance please. I am coming to Thailand 22nd Feb and getting married to a Thai lady on 2 March .I understand the need to then register that marriage and the documents required in order to do that. Once registered I intend to apply for the marriage visa extension as outlined on your guidance note 7th April 2023.

What I am not yet clear about is which type of visa I need in order to get the extension.(I shall be dealing with the immigration office in Korat ) Thanks

All copy's are signed by my wife

And the ones for me.

Not sure if I am missing anything.

Question is does My wife need to come with me as her mother died this morning.

90 Day Report- Korat

Continued great service at Korat Immigration.

I did my 90 day report yesterday.

I brought nothing except my passport.

The entire process took TWO minutes!

Saw those lines today, somewhere else, AKA borrowed a few sentences, from the OP's experiences, confirming they are valid here as well, at times, as I is on so-called retirement extensions for a decade, and had several examples, too early too late to extend, let you sit and wait on a chair, even the paperwork is done, and they're all chit-chatting personal unrelated matters, missing unlisted items in the pre-checklist, bedroom pic with wife no acceptable blah blah OKAY - have to add, most at times sailed thru the process super smoothly

One of the most unpleasant parts of the process used to be the vetting of one's paperwork before being granted a queue number for an appointment to see an Immigration Officer. This process used to be conducted by bureaucratic harpies who appeared to be adhering to a dictum of "they shall not pass" whatever the circumstances. Any failure to dot all the i's or cross all the t's brought down withering scorn and instantaneous rejection.

My experience today.

(I’m on a retirement visa)

Yesterday I moved from Bangkok to Korat.

Today I (we) went to the immigration office in Korat.

The change of address took 5 minutes.

The now due 90 day report took 5 minutes.

My friend I’m living with showed her house book and Thai ID.

I showed my passport.

10 minutes finished, no passport copies, no TM30, no nothing needed.

Big thanks to the staff at Korat Immigration.

Phew, just avoided a wasted 2 hr journey to Korat immigration for my 30 day extension.

About to set off and my partner noticed children not at school, forgetting it is a holiday for late kings birthday.

Can anyone explain what these forms are we were given by Korat Immigration? My wife isn't sure. They're for my year's extension based on marriage to a Thai. Thanks.
