You can create one, but you can be more than certain, that few people, if any would use it and just ask the same question again and again anyway. Unfortunately that’s just the way the Facebook mindset works.
I think it’s a good move. At times I used to forget about my 800,000 baht account because I normally use the monthly 65k a month method (same branch ) to retain my extension of stay, and the 800k account as a backup just in case of miss coding the transfer as a domestic transfer by the banks or whatever could mess me up. Now I just transfer a few baht every few months to avoid any issues.
You may want to touch your account every now and then (even if it’s to add just a couple baht), as I think or heard somewhere inactive accounts can get locked , closed or something unpleasant.
As Tod said and keep current with the rule. My Province of Chumphon never required the TM30 the first 3 years or so I was here. Then bang, without notice they started requiring it. You just never know what’s current or not.
