As Tod said and keep current with the rule. My Province of Chumphon never required the TM30 the first 3 years or so I was here. Then bang, without notice they started requiring it. You just never know what’s current or not.

You have to show that deposit for a solid year first. And that’s every single month from overseas to a bank account here in your name only

Pretty sure once you for-filled the requirement of depositing at least 65k and month for an entire year from abroad your given a new extension of stay based on that. So after your new extension of stay is granted the 800k is yours. That’s the way I remember it happening when I switched to monthly income.

if he does put the whole 800k into the joint account can he apply for the non imm o here in country. He’ll have have 30 days left on his extension of his visa exempt. We will also confirm local requirements. Just trying to relay rough round the edges information for him
