Coming up on yearly extension of stay for retirement and my 90 Day Report 20 days after. Is it 7 days after the 90 Day Report date my grace period. Also I want to avoid going all the way to Bangkok and getting the affidavit of income. Can I show just an updated bank book in only my name with the required amount. The money has been there, over 850k for over two years. Any other financial paper required?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the process for their upcoming yearly extension of stay for retirement and the timing related to their 90 Day Report. They seek clarification about a 7-day grace period following the report date and the documentation needed for the extension, specifically regarding the use of their bank book and whether an affidavit of income is necessary.

I believe you will find that the bankbook has to be updated to the date of the bank letter which typically shows the account balance. It has been reported by some that the letter has to go to Immigration on its issue date......
at least in Bangkok the bank letter is good for 7 days BUT you need to update your bank book on the date you are going to the immigration office for your extension to show that the money is still there
