Can someone tell me what these two stamps represent. Pretty sure I know the one on the right. Not sure what NON-RE means. I’m USA taking a trip to Vietnam. I’m on a extension of stay based on retirement. Things happen way too fast at airports for me. Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The NON-RE stamp refers to a Non-Immigrant Re-Entry visa, which is used to re-enter Thailand after leaving. In this case, the poster, an expat from the USA, is on an extension of stay due to retirement and seeks clarification about the stamps received during their travels. Comments from the community provide insight into the meaning of the stamps and validate the user's understanding.

You have an Extension of Stay and using the Re-Entry Permit to keep this time alive.

You entered Thailand as mentioned in the rectangle stamp on 28 Aug 2018 and got Admitted Until 29 Jun 2019 based on Non RE (Non Immigrant Re-Entry permit)

You left again as mentioned in the triangle stamp on 18 Dec 2019.

As you say you have an Extension of Stay, you must have made a new Extension of Stay in Jun 2019 with an end date somewhere lik 29 Jun 2020 and paid for a new Re-Entry Permit which is also valid till the same end date Jun 2020

That was rectangular stamp with the Non-RE is the last ENTRY stamp you got to thailand and the triangle stamp you got today was your DEPARTURE stamp <- they try to put them side by side to match them up when they can.

Why does it say valid to 19 June 2019? It must be from an old extension yeah?

Perhaps a thought that stamp was put in today. I guess it was already there and the only stamp I actually received was the one on the right. Does that make sense?
