I would go to an consulate and ask for ask for a 60 days tourists visa .. witch can extend for 30 days …bring 20.000 the cash or in Other currency with I … and a flight out of Thailand after the 90 days …..BUT… as you mentioned …. If your history looks like u abuse the Immigration laws …. The officer can reject it … good luck

Oh …. Then do nothing…just come in a tourist visa 60 days witch u can extend here with 30 days … so 3 month first …. Look around and catch the feeling … do nothing plan nothing….

Well I understand that you want to leave the US and retire here . Inside Thailand the procedure is ver easy BUT you need a bank account here to show 800.000 thb.

So I guess it will be better to come in with a NON O witch gives you 99 day .. but have to bring a lot of paperwork to the Consulate ….
