In our last years.

Some people suffer from impaired mental faculties with various forms of dementia towards the end of their lives. At that stage of life there may be other health difficulties to deal with as well. Travel may become difficult or even impossible.

How would those people manage the processes of visa extensions and 90 day reporting?

What happens to them after many years in Thailand and perhaps having nothing and no one to fall back on in their home country?

Have been following posts in this group for some months. I have learned a lot from some good advice and shared experiences. As always a group is condescending or and hindsight advice commenters, but why should this group be different?

My question is, how many of you with DTV and Non O/A visa holders and have been staying long term coping with Thai language? I am asking because, I really struggle to even learn the basics. I know it is possible to get around anyway but I would like to be able to do some small talk with strangers without getting a major headache or looked at as a mentally challenged 😇🙏🏼 Would appreciate your thoughts and comments

Hi to everyone’, Thank you for your understanding and most importantly advice and my sister has helped me to book my TDAC form online. Would be being totally blind, some parts of it were inaccessible but now I’m waiting at the airport to arrive in Thailand exciting times. 😁 the assistance staff at the airport are all very helpful even in Thailand. My Thai isn’t too great but it is improving :)

I recently got insulted by a member of this group

who wrote, "you are a stupid German and don't deserve to be in this group"

and further he went "you don't even know ho to write in proper English"

so I wish to share with you a quote, that was posted in my personal FB group. My friend from Tennessee wrote:

"That sign is a real piece of history! I’m happy that you secured that piece of the past! You’re more American in spirit than many that are in name only!

It’s in deserving hands, Greg!

Love Ya Brother! Gary"

I've got friends all over the World. I had a shop in Germany and employed guests from Australia, USA, UK , NZ and many other countries

I speak 3 languages fluently, and further 2 languages basically. I live in Thailand for 6 months every year, for the past 17 years

I am hard of hearing, my hearing loss is 90%, however I can read lips and my hearing aid (strongest ya can get) gets me around

Thatdda ya all . . .

Hello, I have a friend who has been in US since he was a baby and is now facing deportation to Thailand. He knows nothing about Thailand and has no family or resources there. Are there any programs available there that help with integration into society there and helps with housing and finding employment until he can make it on his own? Thank you so much.

I'm an Aussie living in Thailand and thinking about taking my Wife (Thai) for a short trip to the USA. I can enter the USA Visa exempt, however I would like to hear of any difficulties in getting a Tourist Visa for a Thai citizen. As my Wife speaks only a little English, are translators available for the interview process, or could I accompany her? TIA
