Is the quote of 260,000 baht for DTV visa processing reasonable?

You can only apply for the DTV from outside Thailand. You apply via Evisa to the countries Embassy you are in and remain there until its either approved or refused. You will have to prove you are in that country and can be asked to attend interview.

You have to prove you are where you applied. If they ask for a full copy of every page of your passport your application will be rejected.
