After applying in Hanoi with uploading proofs that submission application was there, do I have to wait for Visa approval in Hanoi or can I travel around in Vietnam?
Query on Vietnam and the 2 embassies: I am planning on landing in Hanoi making my application then taking a trip to halong bay or somewhere. Then potentially a trip to phu quoc to chill as i wait out the process if still ongoing. Travelling in two weeks time.
Im reading that provided I have entry stamp and accommodation in the jurisdiction of the application then I am ok. Any experiences here with moving in country while processing is ongoing?

Hello! It's been exactly 7 days since I applied in Hanoi (workation) US citizen , my application has been on pending approval for 6 days. I'm getting worried? Any idea how much longer I can expect? I'm itching to leave, love Vietnam but Hanoi is not for me. I understand I have to remain here for the chance an interview is required.
Is it okay to bound from one hotel to another while on dtv visa application process? Im planning to stay 1 week at a time to different hotels in ho chi minh while waiting for my visa to process. Any thoughts?
