TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the new Thailand Pass system and how it relates to the Certificate of Entry (COE). Users are questioning whether the Thailand Pass will replace the COE, its implications for UK travelers, and the current visa processes including the possibility of visa on arrival, highlighting the fluid nature of Thai immigration regulations.

Haha. As much as everything changes it stays the same. I lived there in 2014. A ruling that was made one day was changed by the next.

Yes you still arrive visa exempt for 30 days. You will still need insurance, hotel booking for 1 night while you wait for the test result, test also before flying and you will need to complete the TPass to get a QR code.
hey mate, if i wanted to stay for 90+ days would i be able to apply for that visa whilst in the country? And get into the country for 30 days without needing a visa?
