Thailand DTV application advice - additional information!

Currently applying from Malaysia & have been asked for all this additional information, after I applied yesterday.

I don’t yet have a condo etc. & would be great to have some advice on how to best submit all of this!

I mean getting a condo contract is easy, but what if they reject visa? Do they really expect you to sign a fixed contract before u have the permit to enter for that period of time?

honestly baffles me! Also we’d want to see a condo before signing a lease & we can’t be in Thailand until it’s approved!

I dont think they are wanting all those documents only the ones marked Essential. It all depends what you stated to them as employment I guess. Just my take but good luck with it

Have you uploaded every document when submitting online? It appears that you have never uploaded anything.

Wow - what they ask for us quite clear. How you provide it is a problem for you to solve I know that is why you asked here, but I think the answer is too difficult 😞

You shouldn't have applied at Malaysia without without first checking their requirements. They do require you to have proof of an accommodation for over 6 months. Nothing can be done about it.

the requirements weren’t made clear on the initial application we sent, they have asked for further information.

unless you can provide it all, write off the fee and apply elsewhere but this time check the documents required. The requirements were perfectly clear on the DTV document checklist on the KL Thai embassy site.

one advice, go home and apply from over there, the foreign contract authenticated by the thai embassy and the Malaysia certificate is game over

i can advise one thing , i already have my DTV but before i apply i sent an e mail to the embassy asking about all the requirements and the documents they need to apply for DTV, and i made it very clear i want to receive full details so i can prepare it before i apply, the next day the embassy send me everything they need after that i applied and approved without even interview, just an advise so you don't lose more money for nothing
