I mean getting a condo contract is easy, but what if they reject visa? Do they really expect you to sign a fixed contract before u have the permit to enter for that period of time?

You shouldn't have applied at Malaysia without without first checking their requirements. They do require you to have proof of an accommodation for over 6 months. Nothing can be done about it.

unless you can provide it all, write off the fee and apply elsewhere but this time check the documents required. The requirements were perfectly clear on the DTV document checklist on the KL Thai embassy site. **********************************************************************************
Also join the DTV specific groups is you haven't already. Lots of comments in those groups about where not to apply.

i can advise one thing , i already have my DTV but before i apply i sent an e mail to the embassy asking about all the requirements and the documents they need to apply for DTV, and i made it very clear i want to receive full details so i can prepare it before i apply, the next day the embassy send me everything they need after that i applied and approved without even interview, just an advise so you don't lose more money for nothingReply to
