Hi, Arrive Bangkok 16th May to the transit to Vietnam , Arrive back in Bangkok 30th May for 3nights , Do I apply for TDAC visa 3 days 16th May or 30th May , Thanks

Yes, up to 3 days before 30th May you will need to apply for TDAC

TDAC has a transit option. Make sure your departure airport knows

On the 16th, if you are transiting at the airport <- as in NOT needing to stamp in to thailand to catch the plane to vietnam (just staying in the transit area without passing passport control) you do NOT need to file a TDAC
You will need to have one filed when you come back in the 30th (even though it's just 3 days)
