I’m going to apply for a Thai non-ed visa at the embassy in Vientiane. I’m aware of the new method of submitting documents online then paying in person. Does anyone have knowledge of how long this typically takes? Website says 5-10 days but I’m hoping maybe that’s a conservative estimate. If anyone has done this recently, please let me know how long it took

Hi! I just got a request to add some documents to my application: all the pages of my current + previous passport (i recently renewed it because all the pages of the previous one where full).

I have been trying now for 3 hours to merge all the scans in a PDF that is less than 3MB and it looks impossible.

Please help me if you know how to do this! I am desperate.

Is it because the bank account I submitted does not match the account I receive my pay? The account I receive my pay does not have 500k is this a problem?

Technical question: in the digital application process there’s a limitation to the file size for supporting documents (seems like 3MB). However, I see many people posting that they submitted a large number of documents. Can someone please share how to do it. Thank you.

DTV Application Status – Need Advice

Hi everyone,

I applied for my DTV at the Thai Embassy in Frankfurt on September 7.

• Sept 9: Application showed as pending approval.

• Sept 15: They asked me to submit additional documents (digital portfolio).

• Since then, the status is back to pending approval.

Here’s my concern: I already booked my flight back to Thailand for October 1 and I’m worried the approval won’t come through before departure.

👉 Has anyone here experienced something similar?

👉 Any advice what I should do? Will calling the embassy help, or is it just a matter of waiting?

Hello I made a request for a bank statement online on my kasikorn app, they sent me my statement by email, however to open the PDF I have to enter the password which is my complete date of birth in numbers. When I make the request do I have to send the PDF or are PNG screenshots accepted? I plan to apply in Hanoi. Thx

Applying for soft power DTV from Indonesia.

- Sep 2: submitted all documents

- Sep 11: got requested to add proof of current location and sent a hotel booking (until Sept 11) and selfie with receipt (taken Sept 11) on the same day

In hindsight, I believe it would have been better to show another hotel booking for the next fews days. Was wondering if anybody knows if it's possible to add additional documents after already submitting via the online portal.
